While we MA Fashion and Environment students have another year to go (well, 10 months, yikes!); it was great to see the Royal College of Art and Central St. Martin's work in progress exhibitions, as well as our own London College of Fashion's final MA exhibit. Very inspiring; and I am trying to imagine how it will feel being in their shoes not toooo long from now. Hence, first dose: LCF.
Location: Victoria House on Southampton Row; perfect space & size for the exhibit.
Renee Lacroix
MA Fashion & the environment
(the pic I took was terrible, so here's one from the MA website)
Modular & clothing that can be worn in different ways with salmon skin trim
Juliana Sanfelici
MA Fashion & the environment
Sustainable footwear; beautiful fashion pieces
Emily Towers
MA Fashion & the environment
A very carefully designed dress that can be adapted for different stages of your life
(and all dresses at various stages do look lovely)
Bernadette Ehl
Am a bit obsessed with footwear at the mo as we're doing an exciting sustainable shoe project...
CHI YUEN (CHERRY)
Adriana Iurascu
Loving the tesselation detail. Something I did for my last term's project.
Laura Gostling
Love the shape; could almost imagine Bjork wearing the ones on the left (maybe in a different colour though).
Ross Barber
Chatted with Ross a bit, really nice guy! Orginial concept of evolving shoes, made in large part with the 3D printer.
Hoon Chung
Orginal construction with just 2 screws holding the shoe in place.
... and many many more amazing MA students!
